Secaucus Super Hand Car Wash

The car wash is okay. The line is always massive, and if you want to wait less than 30 minutes you’d better get here within the first hour of opening. I’ve taken my car here a few times because the location is very convenient, but every experience has been just okay... nothing particularly impressive. I don’t usually get the basic package, yet there’s almost always some dirt left on the exterior of my car. Most of the car does end up clean, but I guess I expect a little more for what I’m paying. It’s convenient and gets the job done, but I wouldn’t say the results are anything special.

As a Secaucus resident I been coming to this car wash for years never experienced this level of frustration ever. Everyone has always been so accommodating and helpful however today was just one of those days I guess . Before I paid or they took my vehicle I showed the gentleman my vehicle which has some stains on the exterior I asked if they can be removed with the works he said yes that’s easy to remove no worries . So when the gentleman said we’re done your good to go I came back to my car and nothing was removed I complained to the staff and everyone could care less and was dismissive. I had to ask 3x before someone came and took a look. Then they proceeded to tell me I have to pay for detailing now to have it removed when that wasn’t the case when I asked in the first place because I would’ve never paid for the works if it was pointless . I myself was able to use a microfiber cloth soap and water to remove the stains after they cleaned my car which is so disappointing.

This was my first time visiting this car wash location, and unfortunately I was not satisfied with the experience. When I arrived, the staff member tried to charge me the price for an SUV even though my car is a sedan. I had to point that out and ask him to correct the price to the sedan rate. After that, when I went to pay, I discovered they add a 3.75% fee for credit card payments. This was never mentioned beforehand, which was frustrating. Once my car was finished, I went to check it and noticed several areas were not cleaned properly. I took photos for reference, which I will attach to this review. Overall, this experience was disappointing, especially for a first visit. Because of the pricing confusion, the unexpected credit card fee, and the poor cleaning quality, I will not be returning to this location.
